So, my other question is whether British stop is not correctly compared with Arabic hamza, in standard Arabic?
Or in colloquial Arabic? Which one do you mean, Jonne? Or both?
Thank you in advance, guys, for your help!
P.S. Actually, I see that Jonne said only about standard Arabic.

I'm not so close to north pole
and
the hamza is very much the same as british glottal stop. It's the same in colloquial and formal language.
