Yes of course I got your point. You'll use a preposition if you used "al-jamee3". But in this sentence, it doesn't match
You can say:
Atamanna laylatan sa3eedatan leljamee3 = I wish a happy night for all.
Hmm, trying to explain the use of leljamee3 instead of jamee3an may lead us to grammar
