gig is a informal term for a musical event

Is refernce to a phase you see printed typically on an exam paper when a page is blank

I spent time in jail for a crime

11-I felt
uncomfortable in myself in my hallway seat for more than an hour,trying to picture the high-level discussions that were probably going on.

13-On the flight home , i cursed myself for letting them put me trough that dog and pony show .
dog and pony show has come to mean any type of presentation or display that is somewhat pathetically contrived or overly intricate.
Why do you take yourself through this shit ?
why do you put yourself though this bad situation
