La ville de Spijkenisse compte de 74. 000 habitants et se trouve à la province de Zuid-Holland. Elle a l'air d'une île et probablement en est, vu qu'elle est reliée au monde par deux ponts. Il y a peu de voies navigables qui traversent la ville, comme <<De Nieuwe Wateweg>>. La ville fut fondée il y a un peu plus de 10,000 ans.
