Une amie m'écrit ceci pourriez-vous me traduire ces phrases : I am really into hats (ça veut dire 'être mordu de' en français?). I think they can change an outfit from a normal one into a one with panache. I never thought that it was an English thing tho...('tho' = 'though' in emails)
When Ian couldn't use his arm I was so clumsy!! I tried really hard to look after him well but I kept knocking him or hurting him by mistake! What a terrible fiancée I am!
They are polite and friendly and study hard and can be easily bribed with sweets! (in general. There are exceptions, of course!) English students are too obsessed with being cool and mature to be bribed or work hard and they do not want to be friends with teachers!

Aujourd'hui dans ma boîte aux lettres j'ai reçu une publicité sous enveloppe au nom de Me Leguillon (mon nom de famille) m'invitant à jouer et gagner un séjour au Pays de Galles. Je vais participer si je suis tirée au sort et bien j'irai découvrir cette région. Je ne me fais aucune illusion, je n'ai pas vraiment de chance au jeu de hasard."
