Honestly, I find you lovely and very stylish. The flourishing cherry trees constitute a wonderful décor. What I appreciate a lot are also these hats that you wear, quite British, the French often talk of the hats of the Queen of England. It’s true; she always has a hat matching her dress. You are sparkling; Ian and you are sexy, very glamour. A nice little couple! You see what you’ll be looking like in 14 years, a young woman still as fresh as I am! Ah ah!

So it seems you don’t like tea. I must confess I wouldn’t go for tea easily in the morning, I’d rather have coffee. Tea is an institution in England just as much as in Japan. I had watched a reportage on Arte (Franco-German channel) regarding sampling of tea in Japan, which reminded me of wine sampling in France. So, do come back to France, you will be satisfied.

Coming to Paris is no problem; I just need to be informed in advance. David’s uncle owns an apartment in the 15th district in Paris. He doesn’t live there and hands over the keys to us when we need it. Don’t hesitate to ask me for you and your brother. Currently, the apartment is occupied by a cousin of my husband’s. It will be free this summer. It will be better for the two or three of you, if Ian wishes to come. One can park one’s car; the apartment consists of two rooms, a bathroom and a kitchen. Just let me know beforehand if you intend to have a coffee (a good black one) in a pub!
