Hello Mary,
This week, I decided to treat myself. That is I took appointements for a manicure, a pedicure.. I need to feel good, I can't file my nails with only one hand. Usually, I do it myself, my husband David doesn't dare fulfill this perilous task.
I also treat myself by inviting friends to have tea and to talk all day. Before they come, I buy a few sweet breads and buns, and they always bring delicious chocolates. These are treats and very happy moments to look forward to.
I still follow French and international news. French students are still demonstrating against this contract. The Sorbonne university was occupied, then police forces intervened. . I suppose you read about this in the papers, didn't you?
And my last treat is to read your letters almost every day.
