Dear Sir or Madam,

I'm studying modern languages at the University Michel de Montaigne in Bordeaux.

Within the framework of my degree course, I would like to study in Canada the first semester of next year. After having collected informations with the Department of International Relations of my University, I found the University of Winnipeg offered a wide swathe of courses that I am very interested in and that could coincide with the school career I chose my third university year, that is to say international relations.

This travel would allow me to improve my English and above all it would open my mind to another educational system and another culture, in particular if I can live with a Canadian family. Moreover, I think that such a trip could contribute to develop my adaptability which is a very important quality in the labour sphere and even in everyday life.

In France, this program is composed with civilization studies, translation, economics, law and international relations studies. So I picked several courses from the Winnipeg University website that could coincide with this program: advanced microeconomics, translation, twentieth century world, international law and global politics.
I feel really motivated for this plan because I am very interested in international relations and politics and I would like to make career in this field in the future. So I can ensure you that I am ready to work hard to make this trip successful and I hope my abilities will be of interest to you.

I join my curriculum vitae to this letter in which you will find the names of two professors able to give you some informations about my abilities and my behaviour as a student. Thank you for your time and consideration. I hope to hear from you soon.

Yours Faithfully,

[ merci !! ]
