To have a PhD in sociology I might set the assumation that my own cultural bias
feeling to live under the thumb is due I lack the ability to fly an aeroplane and I watched too much with my dad the John Ford's war propaganda.

I mean imagine Yourself in a situation You are physically weaker than Your dad is up to long to your teens. If You gather together, and get physically real close, I mean another is sitting on big sofa and another in a chair in the same living room. You can sense the intensity of the situation because Your bodies are so close.

Then You put the video cassette to roll and let John Ford give a perspective
how the country is defended from hostile enemy. If You have seen John Fords´ war time movies You probably remember the green coloured B-17 to approach the airfield supplying only one landing gear outside. When the landing gear hits the ground Your dad will say, I want to cry. As You fear Your physically stronger dad You tend to agree and give nods. The set intensifies and reaches the climax with U-turn and little fire with the fire-fighters to arrive and rescue the staff. You hear the deep nasal sights coming from the chair Your
dad should sit. As a kid You realise this is something deep and glamorous.
You realise that these are the very few moment Your dad will speak to You.

It is called a fostering kids. Patriotism might be the by-product.

Imagine now You are a average stupid person, and You have now perspective at all
nor You are brainwashed by too much of psychology books. Your dad will hit You and is daily angry. And You only yearn the moments with the green B-17 coming down.

ater as a young adult you try to figure out what is so interesting when Jenna Jameson slips one breast off her bra. Then You look when she moves her finger on her nipple. Suddenly she makes an U-turn and looks with her head behind her feet then she puts her finger on her ass.

Snapping chips and beer You feel like you had it enough. You want to look B-17 coming down. Now its coming..landing gear hits the ground, the squirrling sound of a hot rubber on an asphalt, then U-turn You stand up and get closer to the telly to see when little fire starts little bit later than the always ready rescue team has put up already the alarm signal on the air.

You get back on sofa and your girlfriend arrives and you feel horny. This goes on happily on for years until someone fucks up and reveals how John Ford filmed the trick.

To reveal I only recently discovered the film was a trick. I was shocked and I felt deeply betrayed. I remember I only could wrinkle my eyelids and sit for minutes paralysed of a humiliation.

However the painful finding let me to think if my well learnt patriotism was only a full of biases based on a simple issue during my childhood there was materiel for our generation (Pluto in Virgo* ..You can read for more of the soldier, doctor, terrorist generation) of recently fought WW2 and the materiel was accumulating and new releases were put available.
