Died burned? Does that mean that the tree died while it burned or what? I'm really not sure how to translate this sentence.

Vanha ystävällinen puu kuoli palaessaan ihmiskaaoksen takia.
Vanha ystävällinen puu paloi elävältä ihmiskaaoksen vuoksi.

Human chaos = ihmiskaaos? Ihmistungos? Does anyone know what that means?
