Hello!

My opinion is perfectly in line with that of Tienus; I believe that the best way to raise your standard of English would be to listen to the news and read articles in English.

Watching movies in English which are subtitled in the language used in your homeland is certainly an interesting idea, which, I believe, shall pay in the long run.

Still, just in case you might be tempted to think that having regular conversations with a native English speaker will aid in upgrading your level of English, let me tell you that your thoughts are misleading! Indeed, speaking English since birth doesn't necessarily make of one someone with an excellent or outstanding level of English or unfortunately, not even a 'good' level of English! In this light, I suggest that you read articles from newspapers so as to ensure that you have recourse to 'high quality English' from qualified journalists.

If you have enough time, you may as well read novels in English.

But basically, the idea revolves around having greater access to the written and spoken form of English language.

And remember that the only way you get perfect at something is through practice... No other way out!

Ciao ciao!
