Sorry, pluiepoco, this is not exact. Castellano (Castilian) is spoken in the whole Spain and it's the only language (and not dialect) that is official all over Spain. Castilian is generally known as Spanish outside Spain, and in Spain both names are considered synonyms, or almost. Castilian/Spanish is also spoken and official in most countries of South and Central America.
Some parts of Spain have other languages (and not dialects), the most spoken of which are co-official with Spanish in their own areas: Catalan, Galician and Basque.
Altough mi main language is Catalan I felt I had to defend my second mother tongue
