Daniela is absolutely right: Turkish is a very important language indeed! :D
It is spoken not only in Turkey, but also by the millions of Turkish who live outside Turkey like me, and also by Northern Cypriots, Kurdish people, and also many people in Central Asia.
Furthermore, Turkish is the root language of all the Turkic languages that are spoken in Azerbaidjan, Turkestan (south west of China), Turkmenistan, etc.
Also, there is a growing number of Turkish schools where Turkish is taught as a second language in Central Asia, Africa, Eastern Asia, etc.
So, not to neglected!
