Unlike English Hebrew adjectives come after the nouns they modify. Hebrew adjectives must also agree with their nouns in gender and number. If the noun is masculine singular "beautiful" translates to יפה yafe, if it is feminine singular יפה yafa. The masculine plural form is יפים yafim and the feminine plural form is יפות yafot.
