From the very start, composing music was the first goal.
Singing at eight and beginning to learn guitar at sixteen with the classic master guitarist Jimmy Dabate, Mike already knew then the way that he should take to express himself.
Mike did not try that hard to learn songs from his fvorite artists (Beatles, Genesys, Pink Floyd , Led Zeppelin, and others). In fact, the first song that Mike learned was one he composed himself.
Learning orchestration from Richard Abel and the basics of music harmony from René St-Louis, Mike performed as staff musician for the Richard Abel ballroom orchestra and was employed as studio guitarist for many other artists such as Steph Cars, Alex Pierre, Gilles Brown and others..
Over the past twenty years, Mike was involved in many projects, doing tours and teaching music to many students that become professionals, such as Marc Tousignant and Mat Laurent ( Notre-Dame de Paris).
His talent was recognize by various top jazz artists such as Mathieux Léger, regretted (je ne comprends pas) Evan Simmons (jazz guitarist) and the top pianist Gerry Faulkner.
Never went out by his own (qu'est-ce que c'est en francais? je ne comprends pas), Mike took a long time to accept himself in the role that many people around him forced him to assume :
that of a skilled composer who should reveal himself by promoting one of his best love songs, “Waiting Love”
