here:我=I,
高兴地=happily; where高兴=pleased, happy, joyous, while-地is a suffix, indicating adv.,
了=yet, alreay, which has been noted above.

EX2: 他是个好心肠的孩子。He is a kind-hearted boy.
Here: 他=He
是=is, and usually 是=be, which is unversally right in Chinese without conjugations forever,
个 is a classifier, indicating the number of things, here the sentence can also be 他是一个好心肠的孩子。Because we Chinese will omit the number when there is only a single one,
kind-hearted=好心肠的,where 的 is indicating adj. and also attribute here.
孩子=child, but sine the child is object of He, the child is a boy.
