Hey everyone. I'm a college student in the USA, deciding which language to study here. My main choices are Arabic and Chinese. I have been reading about each. I am in Army ROTC, so these obviously are some of the more important languages to learn. I don't really know what to ask of you guys, I just wanted to vent!

Maybe I do have one question, is there a large Arabic-speaking population in a cold area of the world?
