Then I guess the berber language is something like Weiwuer in Northwest China, it is of Turkish, and the people speaking this language is called Weiwuer people, but 200 years ago they moved into Central China and changed their nomandic life into farming life, and then we called that removed race as Hui, and Hui nowadays become a minority nation in China. Although Hui people and Weiwuer people are of the same origin, when asked whether they are of the same race, they deny it definitely. And in another sense, the Hui people takes Arabic as their mother language, though they learn Chinese perfectly good, since they are Chinese-nized. When I consulted languages books in my university library, I knew that Weiwuer is a Turkish branch, so Weiwuer language belongs to Turkish language, and in old times we called Weiwuer people as Turkey man 突厥人, like those in South Russia, Kirgizstan, Turkmenistan and so on these --stans. We Chinese call them all as Turkish, because they are from the ancient Turkey, in Chinese we call Turkey as 土耳其，the modern name of 突厥.
I'm always feeling strange that, the Hui and Weiwuer people are turkish but they know arabic, and take it as their own language, and they are all muslim, they dislike pig and meat. In most Chinese people's eyes, the muslim should all speak Arabic, but the fact is not. I cannot find if there is difference between the language Turkish and Arabic, but actually they do have, except that I really don't know, can you tell me?
And in a comparison I guess that Berber people should be another branch of Arabic when their ancestors moved into Egypt and North Africa, they developed their Arabic in combination of that of Egypt and Mediterranean languages, maybe Greek, But I don't know either so I cannot make a research, if you can, please do it. I just guess it should be the same as Hui and Weiwuer in China.
Another Thing, barbar is the Arabic name of Berber, but Barbar itself means wild man or something like, saying uncultured race especially nomandic race. And the Hui and Weiwuer and other old nomandic nations around China is also called barbar by old China, it can be retrieved in English version The History of World or The Decline of Roman Empire. Maybe the berber people is only a branch of Arabic Muslim moved into north Africa, and the berber is branch of Arabic. If not, it must be turkish, in my view.
