You should first say Hello. Choose from:
Buna dimineata (good morning)
Buna ziua (good afternoon)
Buna seara (good evening)
Then you could say something like:
As dori sa vorbesc cu XXX(your friend's name). Se poate?
I would like to speak with XXX. Is it possible?
