One of David's childhood friends is married to an Italian. She teaches art history and loves Italy for all those reasons. She lives in the south of France and goes to Italy every year with her husband and children. What most appeals to her is the Renaissance art, the great cultural movement that was born in Italy in the XVth century and deeply influenced the history of Italian and European culture and civilization.
