wow this is a pretty wide question, though i feel concern because i am studying physiology and biology.


Here is a real quick sum of what i think about it

Basically I think that OGM, transgenes and cloning should be allowed. We have to be aware that it is dangerous though. Like in every new technology there will be misleading and unforgivable deviances. But this has never forestall any technological developpement.
Here are a couple of reasons, though I would need thousands of hours to let you know all of them

Developping OGM you add new varieties to the already existing ones then you participate to the genom enrichment, which is fondamental to preserve diversity.

Transgenes are fundamental in physiological and biological sciences. It let to study illnesses and to understand the physiological propeties of the human body.

Clones are probably the next step in fundamental scientific research, especially used as currative solution for non-yet-currative illnesses.
