A little while ago, Klowj very kindly translated my name, Alison, into Arabic:

My friend is just back from holiday and got a necklace made for me with my name, but unfortunately the jeweller has left out the little dots (two at the bottom and one at the top) and the ~ above the first letter. Is this going to change the meaning now? If so, how badly (I've been thinking all sorts of frightening things it could now mean!!!
