I am Spanish but I've studied French since I was 4. They are more or less the same and they are both beautiful languages. So I think you will love both =)
Maybe you should think about what culture you feel more interested about. If you can speak the language you will be able to learn more about the culture.
Another thing, not very important is that both Spanish and French have written accents ( I mean: á ... ) Spanish has only one accent and French has three. And Spanish accents have rules so you always know when to write them or not. But in French you have to guess them by the pronounciation =) .
