Hi everyone ! I am glad to be here and quite new on this site !
That 's my idea too about silence. Silence according to me, doesn't mean there are no waves . I think silence gives place to anorther kind of waves. For instance in a conversation, silence at a precise moment can say a lot about what the person is feeling. And the feelings are made of waves or they creat the waves that we perceive. But it isn't sound. That's bringing us to the idea that the silence is probably filled with our thoughts, our comprehension about things and this comprehension is creating the emotions which are creating the waves of silence.
I have been said recently (in a chatting conversation !) that even when I say nothing, it means a lot to the person I am chatting with. And many feelings are going through these silences, because these silences are setting in a conversation not at any time. And this precise moment define the emotions that are filling these silences.
Wow !! I hope you can understand what I am talking about. But for sure you all have good ideas about silence ! It is nice to have different point of view in fact.
