Well, first exam with questions is "тест", as I said before.

As to "open book" ...... well, it's not easy to answer. I am quite old lady of 33 y.o, and so my university days were many years ago. At the time when I studied at Universtity, we were absolutely forbidden to use any books while writing our exams. Maybe now it is different, I don't know reallly. So I think there is no special name for this kind of exam. If it's physics exam, then we just call it "устный экзамен по физике" or "письменный экзамен по физике" - depending on what is the aim of the exam - to answer all the questions in front of a professor, or just writing the answers and solving exersises, so the professor will check the works later.

By the way, in the context of your message the expression "теперь ясно?" sounds a little bit not polite ;-). Here it was better to use "Так понятнее?" It's ust a little nuance, but since you want to know "все, что можно", I think it will be good for you to know ;-)
