Well, in some cases it can be used, but it's considered a dirty word, so it may be used only if you don't care about people around. But if you respect people's ears, you still can find some words which will be more or less acceptable. When you are upset of frustrated with something so much that can't keep your mouth shut, you can say "÷¸ðò" [chiOrt].

As to other dirty words you could hear or learn from other Russians - it's better not to use them, because there are a lot of nuances in using them, which foreign people can't understand well, so you may appear to look ridiculous.
