What I hope to accomplish within the next ten years are my most fulfilling ambitions; ambitions that i know in later life I will not be able to carry out. Ten years is a long period of time. In order to discuss, I feel it is best to highlight what i hope to accomplish in each five year intervals. The first five year period that i will talk about consists of the pursuit of my studies and what I am looking to dedicate to them and the second 5/6 years period will be a follow on from my initial discussion, which will consist of the beginnings of my working life. These two periods will be closely involved in travelling.
Thanks to the Erasmus program, travelling during the studies is really easy. Angers’s University has a lot of agreement with foreign Universities and with motivation supported by a school record in due form, you can study wherever you want for a short time period of a year in Europe. Then you are free to go on studying abroad but in certain countries (the United Kingdom is a good example), tuition fees are very expensive and I couldn’t afford it without the state financial help. Fortunately there exist other agreements with universities all around the world. They are called ISEP program or bilateral agreement and allow us to discover new cultures and to study away from France. The only drawback is that you can benefit from the Erasmus program just once.
I am going to spend my next year in Newcastle, England. I am looking forward to improving my English skills, to discovering the English style of life and making new foreign friends. In 2009, I would like to study in Japan, in Osaka where I have some Japanese friends. Therefore, I will have to organize this second year abroad whilst studying in England. I have already talked about this with the referent teacher and understand the strong work ethic that is required of me. After being postgraduate I would want to spent my last two years of studying in one country, however, i have yet to decide which country.
My main goal in studying languages is to be able to speak fairly fluently in at least 4 languages, French included, which will serve as my long term project. My current dream is to work either in a Hostelling International system for young people coming from everywhere or even to administer my own Hostelling International. These places are fantastic because they encourage personal blooming and increase people’s knowledge of foreign culture. They are good places to make friends for 1 week or maybe even for life. That is why I am an LEA student; by studying management, maws???? (LAWS?) and economy with 3 foreign languages, I will be able to carry out my dream.
In conclusion I would say that I want all my life to be travelling-oriented and limitless. This is why I want to devote my next ten years to travelling and studying languages. For the first time I am going to take advantage of the state and of the university assistance and hopefully fulfil a career in doing what i love most.

La seule chose qui me chiffonne, c'est le "for the first time, i am going to...", ça veut dire pour la 1ere fois, nan ? Je vais peut-être changer ça.
Merci !!
