You're pleased and I'm glad about it. On reading your email, I could see you were "harassed by telephone" by your daughter Carmen. "Well, how is it? What are you doing?, etc..." She was both curious and eager to know about your trip. At the same time she was reassured.
The photo taken on the sofa of your room, I should rather say your suite, makes us feel like staying in such a nice hotel at least once, to busy ourselves about nothing but our well-being, our outings.
I think yours was a good idea, Sid must have appreciated and I'm sure he'll remember his fiftieth birthday.
For the time being, David is waiting for his holiday to be validated so that he can buy a plane ticket to Barcelona.
About the photos I'm sending: Me in an armchair (a non-luxurious one) without cowboy boots on
, the photo was taken in the evening, which explains the nightgown.

The second one: David sitting on his red car rug draped sofa, not really the same as the one you were sprawling on. Also taken in the evening.
