I've never been to France but I want to go there. I eager to see Mont Saint-Michel !! Cognac sounds really nice, I also want to visit south part of France, too. How is the life in France?

Well, I think we have to distinguish the life in Paris (maybe also in the biggest town) and in the rest of the country.
In Paris, the accomodations are pretty expensive, you must have a really good job to live in. In Paris, many stars live in, there are many museums, theaters, cinemas, "café-concerts", work offices and tourists. This is the capital city.
Many people says that Parisians are distant.

In the other parts of France, accomodations increase also, but not as much.
Nowdays, many comodities increase. Since few years, some Britanics come in France and buy house, even old house, so that the real estate increase. In my village and in the neighbour ones, the young married couples make house builded. So there are old old houses, and news. Before, in country side house, lived husband, wife, children, grand parents. their works were "earth works". Now, it depends. Peasants became farmers, and now farmers even become (in my region) Cognac makers, possess vine.

All regions in France possess culinary specialities. Many french like football, for some of them, it's quasi a religion. French are often discontent with the goverment. With every president, they often look the bad side and not the good one. .....................I have to quit...
