Hi, Voyageur.
We are not so much concious about Japanese tradition in our daily life, I think, but traditional things are seen in congratulatory or condolence occasion such as wedding, funeral, New Year's day, wedding and so on.

When people get married, there are many conventions and rules which are different in the regions. I heard that people living in the supecific area have wedding parade from bride's familiy home to their new house, with strewing sweets for the people. (Though I've never seen it...) Conventions exists strongly in the country areas, but in urban area, there are less conventions.

I've never been to France but I want to go there. I eager to see Mont Saint-Michel !! Cognac sounds really nice, I also want to visit south part of France, too. How is the life in France?

If you have anything to ask about Japan, ask me !
