i rekon a semantic definition may be too strict in a philosophical topic : what do you mean by saying "We cannot say that something which is ok but subjective, is normal just because someone has it as his/her norm" and why do you think norms should be objective as much as they could be? maybe this is easier to reason, but is it the most relevant?
i think a broader view of the subject is necessary : discussing about what is normal or not is a bit of an improductive work : there must be as many opinions about that question as many people on earth...
