Hmm...pedophile? It's not very good example for the topic: "what is normal...", it is a deep sexual disorder which has nothing to do with normality/abnormality in "semantic sense". It is just too...polar. I think it is not what we are talking about here.
About pedophile: hmm, his/her perception of reality is just much different from what we all know. We cannot say that something which is ok but subjective, is normal just because someone has it as his/her norm. Norm should be objective as much as it can be. Only than it can be "an absolutely binding norm"...
