That is so true! I also worked at a place that was so bad for the soul. I was sort of lucky they laid me off! The company was going through many changes and most of the employees had a very negative attitiude and were backstabbing each other and creating bad gossip, etc. After I left I took my time finding something better. One day I get a call and interview for 2 hours and my new boss was so great and optimistic and the company is wonderful. Then one good thing kept happening after another. I have met many wonderful new people since and I have become more known around the city. Even last night I met many new friends and was on local TV! See you can become a new person and have a new outlook on life. Just keep busy and meet new people, that what it's all about!
