My name is David but I picked this name since I post (or used to post, rather) in another forum with that nick.
I was born in El Salvador
but now I live in California. Spanish is my first language and I do speak it "fluently" but I don't use it as much so I sometimes make silly grammatical mistakes or forget some words >_<'
For the most part, by far, I speak English. I go to college and am set to graduate later this year with a degree in Math and later hope to become a HS teacher =D.
I love foreign languages and international affairs! I've studied Japanese for a couple of years. I started in part because I like anime ^_^. I also happen to have a Japanese sister-in-law. I've lost a little bit of practice in Japanese as well. At my peak some years back I used to be able to hold a simple conversation and read at about a third grade level. right now I probably just know how to ask to go to the bathroom =p.
I'm trying to pick up French too. I'm currently in my second quarter at college but my professor is terrible. For the most part I'm studying on my own. My goal is to become fluent in Japanese and French and be able to travel around France and Japan and be able to fully communicate with anyone there.
