I haven't been in europe so I can't give you any advices about there but I heard lot about Rome-Venice and in France Barcelona you can visit Portugal lizbon too....But if I were you I would be in Istanbul in all my holiday.Because you can't trip perfectly istanbul in a week...

Turkey is definitely one of the countries I will visit
but, instead of suggesting Lisbon try Porto also and other many beautiful Portuguese places and cities which are "hidden" because foreigners and even Portuguese people think that Lisbon is Portugal and the rest remains a little view of the country.
