I actually did some research on this and now I see that you're right. I figured that the "official" term was Farsi now that the country is named Iran and not Persia anymore. But both terms are correct and in English Persian even more than Farsi.

I am glad that you have realized the truth. The Official term for Our language in english is "Persian". All the names of our language are derived from the Persian word "Parsi", For example "Persisch" In german, "Persan" In French, Persidskyi In Russian etc....
by the way, If you go to Google settings you will only see Parsi, Persian, Persisch, Persan, persidskyi. No farsi in any languages....
