Buongiorno Alessadro!

So if I understood well, you are Italian, and you speak Spanish and English, right? And now you are looking for which language to learn... Is there one you are particularly interested in?

To help you not being afraid about "strange" languages, let me explain you about the foreign languages I've learnt so far..

After English, the first language I learn is Thai, because I was going to teach there. Thus, about a month before departure, I bought "Teach yourself Thai" and began studying the language. Although Thai is an "exotic" language that works with a tone system and a difficult alphabet system, it language is really simple by itself. You do not conjugate the verbs and there are no verb tenses (for as far as I am aware). When I arrived there, I could already negotiate and have basic conversations. I pursued a bit my learning there, but I haven't touch it since I'm back in Canada.

After that, I learnt Spanish, mostly by myself, but you do not need to know about this language

Since a year, I am learning the Arabic language. I would lie saying it is easy, but it is very interesting. There is a new alphabet to learn, some say it is difficult, from my point of you, it is very easy. Every letter are always pronounced the same. The only difficulty with writing Arabic is that short vowels are usually not written... The grammar is hard, but everything is logical. Despite all of this, the language is very beautiful and I really enjoy learning it

You need not being afraid of learning a different language. The most important thing is to choose a language that you really want to learn. Once you get it touch with a language and discover how it works, it makes you love it!

Finally, the more you learn, the easiest it gets
