Time is (as lots of other stuff) something we don't understand, don't see, only measure. What about the rest of our dimensional cage? We only know and grasp it all to the limits.
I say there's got to be something more...I know curiosity killed the cat (pour thing), but mine only got me saved, ha!
There is a cool true story I really like.
Until 4 years old Albert Einstein was considered a retarded child, because he didn't talk. On his 4-th birthday his uncle brought him a compass and said:"Don't worry Albert, not everyone is born to be a professor." Little Albert went to the corner and sat there for hours looking at the compass. Finally he walked into the room where guests where gathered and astonished everyone by saying: "Around this arrow has to be something that makes it spin." Yep, there was - magnetic field.
