there were several messengers chosen by God the last one is mohamed(sala allaho aleihi wa salam PBUH), and their mission is to tell us that god exists, we have to beleive, those who refuse will be punished.they will return to god sooner or later.our time is the most difficult period because no messenger will be sent.it 's sufficient.now you have to search in the quoran in the bible in all religious books and decide .according to muslims every thing is revealed in the quoran nothing is distorted and it speaks about all the books and messengers that were sent by god.here is a site about islam in English you can find what's in there!
