Take a look at mathematics, this science would simply not exist without a point of reference, some absolute. The more we distance ourselves from such absolutes, the more mess we get, and than of course it's too embarrassing to face our mistakes so we blame God or others. People who reject God in my opinion are simply too immature to face their own insufficiency without Him.
On the contrary, if you deny God's existence, you have to face at each moment your own weakness, and perhaps, through what you'd call the lack of"absolutes", the absurdity of the world. But that's not a problem, for each is able to build his own life. I agree with you : the world would be better if it were not that messed up. But the question is not what it should be, the question is what it is. Neither do I blame God, nor you : I just feel so sad for your blindness
