"Art" is, to say the least, a very generous container: literature, music, painting, sculpture etc. are, all, included in this concept, each of them favourising a certain sense over another. One's senses and thought do not perceive and translate them all in the same way. The impact of literature, for example, may be more a mind's joy for some, as long as the impact of music or the one of visual arts addresses more to one's senses.
Generally speaking, I think that each of us is somehow
tuned or genetically programmed if you wish, to be more sensitive to one form of art more than to another.
It's a kind of a special flavour that's spicing our lives

Maybe we're born with it and all we need is to rediscover what we really like.
