Default Economics and Ecology

Another problem appears when you think of capitalisme. A wealthy economy is the one with a high growth rate. But this growth implies the developpment of the activities, as well in industry as in the other fields. But can this growth be considered as infinite? Must we admit that economical activities have no ends? Do they have an aim? If yes, which one?
