Pascal admits that reason cannot determine anything, so he's inventing this funny little demonstration: let's suppose that God exists, let's toss a coin and then have a look at it: head or tale - you win if He exists and you believe that He exists, you "loose" if He doesn't exist but you believe that He exists. Did I get it right?
