1) Is it true the malls and stores are so damn big in the US? Or do they also have some 'normal-size' stores?
2) Is it true people breakfast every morning in a sort of fastfoodrestaurant with cakes, brownies etc.?
3) Do you have over 200 tv-channels on your telly?
4) Is it true in a movie, or whatever you're watching on tv, you get commercial messages every 10 minutes?
5) From when to when do American children have vacation in your state?
6) Does every state have it's own right to decide when children have vacation? Or decides the city itselfs that?
All right, i'm full of questions, but right now, I can't make them all up . Oh, my last question:
What is a good school to learn about MARKETING (advertising and stuff like that)
I really hope you will and can answer my questions.
Greets from Holland, and my - Kevin -.
BTW: the grammar of question #6, is that correct? I'm questioning it.
BTW2: the other reason i have so much of this questions is because we really don't learn about the states.. We only learn about (boring) England.

Well, let's see.
Some malls are just way too big. Personally, I don't like the mall much. I used to when I was younger. There are a lot of smaller stores to find exactly what you need. You're not bound to the mall. Thank goodness. I believe the biggest mall in this country is the Mall of America and that's in Minneapolis, MN.
Some people get their breakfast from a fast food restaurant and some people don't eat breakfast at all. Some eat cake and brownies and some eat food a bit more healthy. I guess it all depends on how much of a rush you are to get to where you're going.
Yes, some of us have way too many channels on our TVs. You can get satellite with over 1,500 channels. I have cable and there are about 200 channels I don't use at all. I really don't see the need for all of these channels and a lot of them are in other languages that I don't know.
So many commercials. Some channels sign off at night and all you have are infomercials. That's where a company devotes a half hour, and sometimes an hour, to one product. Some channels don't tend to put as many commercials between shows. It depends on the channel. If they really depend on advertising, a one hour show will usually only be about 40 minutes.
Kids in this country usually have vacation in the summer, about three months. For Christmas, New Year's Day, and holiday's here and there. And some half days, as well.
The schools can decide what days they have off, too. But for the most part children have off for all the major holidays and the entire summer if they're not going to summer school.
