I'm a woman, so you didn't specifically ask me, but after all, what is this but a question of equality between the sexes? So I'll answer. To me, because of my cultural upbringing, not marrying a girl because she's lost her viginity, that's an incredibly backwards way of looking at sexuality. I'm from the "free love" world! Not being a virgin isn't a sin. It isn't something to be repentant over. You might say that's because my culture is overly-sexualized. Yes, that's probably true. But not marrying a girl because she's had sex even though you love her - what is that but saying the state of her hymen has greater worth than her very being as a person?

As to murduring girls because they've been penetrated, that's a disgusting practice. Every culture has disgusting practices. It's still disgusting. Capital punishment is the end of an act of love? And I don't recall the last time those same cultures murdured a man just because he's had sex.
