I don't have time to translate the whole text now, but here's the beginning. I can continue later if someone doesn't do it before me.
Two SEY's [= The Finnish Society for the Protection of Animals] inspectors came here because someone had made a complaint about me. The complaint was based on pictures of Ego, where the dog looks "morbidly" thin. Those pictures are on this site. I'd just like to say a couple of things to the person who made the complaint:
- Ego hasn't lived in MY house for a couple of months, so the inspectors haven't been able to see it. You can see it if you want to, just make contact yourself. You could also have easily found out where the dog is, partially by reading this site and also by asking me.
- Ego has malabsorption. It eats either Specific's CAD 1-2 liters per day (food that is meant for dogs that have malabsorption, are recovering from a surgery or are really thin for some other reason. It contains plenty of fat and protein, about 30% of both) or alternatively a special porridge about a liter and raw mutton 2-5 kg per day. There are also continuously fresh and meaty bones for the dogs on the yard.
- If you are ready to pay for the vet, I can get a medical certificate of this "sickness" for you. Alternatively, I can invite you here together with the vet if you are so worried about this dog, as long as you pay the bill.
- Ego lives in a farm where it's the normal way of life to have plenty of exercise. I mean tens of kilometers per day, free, just as much as the dog wants.
