I’m sorry, I just didn’t express myself clearly. What I meant is that I know your son who used to attend the Dragon School. As far as I’m concerned, I’ve never been to Dragon School because unfortunately, my parents were not able to pay for my school fees. However, I know of some friends who have been there and that’s how I got to know Florian. I wanted to keep in touch in with them, but the school director, Mr J.R. Baugh, refused to help me because I wasn’t an ex-student (you can ask him if you wish!). You’re an ex-student of Dragon School, aren’t you? I’ve always dreamt of going there, I’ve always been told that’s it’s much more than just a school. So, if I’m not mistaken, you’re his father, aren’t you?
The funny thing is that, it’s been only two years now since I’ve understood that the little Florian Duerre whom I knew and the Florian Duerre (writer) are one and the same person… In fact, two years back, I’ve been to Oxford for two weeks and before going there, I’ve tried to look for addresses of old friends so as to pay them a visit, but they had either moved or they were not listed in the phone book… It’s when I asked someone (on the net) that the latter told me he knew none of my friends, except Florian and that it was not surprising that I wasn’t able to find Florian’s address. I asked him why and he said “It’s Florian Duerre” and he sent me this link…
I personally didn’t recognize him – he appeared blonder in my memories…
I wanted to write to him to congratulate him, but I didn’t know his address. I also told myself that he would most probably not remember me.
But I’ll perhaps go back to England soon, to Henley-on-Thames. I’m trying once more to find my old friends.
Could you pass on a message to him?
I wanted to know how he’s doing…
