Hi Jonne
Your first guess was right , you congugate it as :
af3alo, taf3alo, taf3alena, yaf3alo, taf3alo, naf3alo etc
but you should pay attention that the ( o ) at the end is not a ( waw ) it is ( dhama ) , and the ( a ) is ( fat7a ) .. so , without the dhamma and fat7a , it would be Af3al , taf3al , taf3alen , yaf3alon ...
spoken language differs because sometimes we don't use the same word , in the case of ( fa3al ) for example , we don't say Af3al in our daily languge , insted we use : A3mal for example ..
so when you say : what are you doing ?
in Arabic it is : Matha Taf3al ?
in spoken Arabic it is : Sho 3m Te3mel ? acctually it depends on the accent , in egypt they will say : bete3mel eh ?
so , it would be :
A3mal , Te3mal , te3mali , te3malu , ye3malu , ne3mel .. also , this depends on the slang you are using ..
is that what you where asking about ? or i missed something here ?

..
well, take a look at this web page .. i think it has something good for you :
