I think I would not like to learn in a virtual class like "school.com" even if I could learn at my own pace and be quietly at home.
I think this for several reasons:
First, there aren’t any teachers (teachers aren't in front of us). So, I couldn't ask any questions on place and there wouldn't be any exchanges between pupils and the teacher. I don’t want a virtual teacher.
In addition, I think education isn’t only about learning lessons on the computer. I think education is also to learn to live together and to get accustomed to meet people. This isn't learnt with computer.
Finally, I would risk to lose my friends, because I wouldn't see them any more during the day, and I would not eat lunch with them. I wouldn't like to be set apart from my friends.
At present, I am comfortable in my regular high school and my lifestyle is appropriate for me.
I think virtual school doesn’t allow students to open up and to be well rounded. And, there are more disadvantages than advantages to learn on school.com
