Voilà une 1ere traduction séparée pour chaque paragraphe.
Certaines expressions me posent problème...

Du 11 janvier au 1er février 2007, j'étais à Kinshasa pour rencontrer les enfants de la Charité, Robert et tous les autres, et aussi... mon épouse Mamina.
Une seule formalité n'a pu être terminée avant mon départ: le visa de Mamina. J'ai donc du rentrer seul et le voyage de Mamina en France ne pourra pas se faire avant plusieurs semaines.
Ce séjour a été aussi l'occasion pour moi d'affronter la réalité, une réalité de la vie à Kinshasa que je ne pouvais appréhender par l'intermédiaire d'Internet.
Si sur le plan matériel, j'ai souffert de la chaleur ou de la malaria, ces quelques problèmes de confort n'ont rien gâché de cette fraternité, cette humanité que j'ai ressenti au contact des Congolais qui m'ont accueilli tout au long de ce séjour.
La fraternité qui figurait sur nos anciennes pièces de monnaies françaises (liberté-égalité-fraternité), je ne l'avais jamais réellement vécue jusqu'à ce jour.

The brotherhood that figured on our former pieces of French changes (liberty-equality-brotherhood), I never really had lived until this day.

J'ai aussi pu constater à quel point les congolais sont admirables par leur ténacité, leur volonté de s'en sortir dans un environnement des plus difficiles sur le plan économique.
Des ribambelles de boutiques se montent au bord des routes (le terme rue ne s'applique pas vraiment vu l'état de dégradation dans lesquelles elles se trouvent)
Les populations se forment comme elles peuvent, apprennent la couture, la mécanique, la bijouterie, et montent leur mini-entreprise.
Cela va de la simple table avec une chaise et un parasol/parapluie à la petite barraque de 12 m2.
Mais comment s'en sortir autrement quand les usines et entreprises de grande taille sont quasi-inexistantes?
Le salariat est réduit à une peau de chagrin avec un SMIC d'environ 15 euros par mois.
L'enseignement, les formations sont inabordables pour la plupart des familles.
Alors on se débrouille...

Pour en revenir à la Charité, je fus accueilli comme un prince, Robert et quelques autres membres ont pris en charge mon séjour du début jusqu'à la fin, repas, hébergement, déplacements...
Et je n'oublierais jamais la clameur des enfants quand le chauffeur m'a déposé devant la Charité.
Un bouquet de fleur avec un petit message d'accueil lu par un enfant: tout cela reste gravé dans ma mémoire. Comme celui prononcé à mon départ.
Ils m'ont offert aussi gentiment des habits créés par eux-mêmes dans leurs ateliers de couture.
Ces enfants peuvent être fiers, ils se débrouillent trés bien et beaucoup de petits français ne feraient pas mieux en vivant dans les mêmes conditions.
(d'ailleurs cela peut s'appliquer aux adultes aussi)

Ces rencontres furent aussi l'occasion de discuter de l'organisation de l'ONG.
L'urgence se situe d'abord sur le plan financier: loyers impayés, une partie des enfants non scolarisée, clôture de la parcelle à réaliser, réfection des toilettes...
Il y a aussi des besoins de toutes sortes, lits, matelas, médicaments, matériel scolaire ou pédagogique...
Lors d'une réunion, le comité directeur m'a soumis la proposition de créer un petit centre médical qui emploierait un médecin à temps partiel. Les frais médicaux dans les dispensaires proches sont trop élevés et le passage d'un médecin quelques heures par semaine permettrait un meilleur suivi médical des enfants avec un coût inférieur.
Le manque de matériel éducatif, une scolarisation partielle, tout cela rend la tâche des éducateurs éprouvante. Ceux-ci ont en effet plusieurs dizaines d'enfants à charge, sans moyen matériel suffisant, pas de livres, de jeux, ni d'ordinateurs...
Les ateliers de couture manquent aussi de machines à coudre.
Je dois dire qu'ils réalisent un excellent travail.
Mon souhait (en tant qu'informaticien) serait la création d'un atelier informatique.
L'installation ne serait-ce que d'un seul ordinateur permettrait aussi d'améliorer la gestion administrative de l'ONG.
Un video-projecteur associé nous laisserait envisager la projection de films.
Les projets sont donc nombreux, mais tout ceci sans ressources financières ne peut être réalisé.

There is also needs of all sorts, read, matelas, medicines, school or educational equipment... The medical expenses in the near health centers too are raised and the passage of a doctor some hours a week would allow a better one followed medical of the children with an inferior cost. The equipment lack educational, a partial education, all that returns the try the educators testing. These have in fact several tens of children to loads, without sufficient material means, not any books, of games, or computers.. The sewing workshops lack also sewing machines. I must say that they realize an excellent work. My wish (in so as computer technician) would be the creation of a computer workshop. The installation would not be this that of an alone computer would allow also to improve the administrative management of the NGO. An associated video-projecteur would leave to us to envision the projection of films. The projects are therefore numerous, but all this without financial resources cannot be realized.
